I was looking to see if there is a reason I should stay away from SendObject. I already have code/infrastructure in place that could easily be modified to accommodate the SendObject function.
Now, this customer doesn't care how I send them, and has an e-mail client installed on all machines that need to send. The IT manager didn't want to haveĪn e-mail client installed on the machines that ran it. Their IT manager didn't like total access emailer, so I wrote VB code that created text files in a location where Febooti sent them as e-mails. Wanted to use a application called Febooti to send their e-mails. I have since rewritten it for another company that I cannot remember why total access e-mailer was used, that many years ago, I didn't know much about VBA and I think that was the simplest out of the box solution.
